What a crazy game. The Sabres were listless for the first 2 periods against the worst team in their conference only to pour on 6 goals in the third period and win it 7-4.
They’ve scored 20 goals in their past 3 games and are now only 1 pt back for the 8th and final playoff spot and 2 pts back of the 7th.
I know their chances of getting past the 1st round are slim, assuming they make it, but I’m not ready to begin another playoff drought. Not after coming within one series of the Finals the past 2 years.
Here’s hoping they’re able to claw their way in over the next 8 games!
